31: Ember Graham

On July 2, 2015, Matthew Graham awoke to find his six-month-old daughter, Ember, missing after a sleepover at his trailer in Happy Valley, California. Despite claiming she was abducted, inconsistencies in his account and his prior criminal history raised suspicions. Graham had a history of drug use and erratic behavior, which contributed to his troubled relationship with Ember's mother, Jamie. Despite police focusing on him as a suspect, they lacked sufficient evidence for an arrest.

Immediately after reporting Ember missing to 911, the police noted that Graham seemed unusually calm, raising further doubts. As the investigation proceeded, several disturbing facts came to light regarding the night of Ember's disappearance, including the unreliable door of the trailer and Graham’s behavior during questioning. After an extensive search that failed to uncover any signs of Ember, Graham was arrested for a probation violation on drug-related charges.

During the investigation, a pacifier belonging to Ember was discovered, reigniting the search; however, by then, authorities believed Graham was the likely culprit. Following a series of events, including a standoff with police where Graham was shot, many unanswered questions remained about Ember's fate. Speculation raised several theories about her disappearance—from accidental overdose to abduction, but no clear resolution or evidence was ever found.

In subsequent years, Ember's mother hired a private investigator as efforts to find her continued. Despite ongoing search efforts, Jamie now suspects that Matthew and his family members know more about Ember’s fate, though they have not come forward. As of today, Ember is presumed missing, and authorities continue to seek information regarding her disappearance, offering a reward for any leads.
