55: Tangena Hussain

In October 2008, Tangena Hussain, a two-year-old girl, vanished after being left in a locked car by her mother's boyfriend at a gas station in Detroit while he went inside for a short time. Despite police investigations and public searches, no evidence surfaced proving Tangena was ever at the gas station. The boyfriend, Jamrul Hussain, did not immediately report her missing, raising suspicions. After extensive searches and scrutiny from authorities, it was revealed that he had a troubling past involving a previous conviction for sexual misconduct with an underage girl. Both he and Tangena's mother, Nilufa, agreed to polygraph tests, which yielded contradictory results. Nilufa believes Hussain knows more about Tangena's disappearance than he admits. Despite a $26,000 reward for information, the case has remained cold for over 14 years. Tangena's family continues to seek answers, while her father voiced strong suspicions about Hussain's involvement.
